Who is Chef Sarah?

Sarah Seiler, chef and owner of Simply Sarah, has been in the kitchen as long as she can remember.  As a child, she continually bugged her mother to let her bake brownies, cookies and cakes and as an adult, she has moved on to more complex and nutritious options.  Those first cakes weren’t always successful (there were several occurrences when mis-measured oil or water resulted in inedible results) , but she learned from her mistakes and now can provide you with a five star multi course meal. 


She completed a certificate at Kendall College in Chicago, IL, in the Summer of 2010, with a concentration in personal chef and catering.  She has undertaken additional independent study on special and restricted diets, as providing nutritious and delicious food for those who have allergies and intolerances, or just specific dietary needs, is a passion of hers.


In addition to her most recent education at Kendall, Sarah holds a BA in Spanish Literature and Language from The College of the Holy Cross in Massachusetts.  After several years working in non profits, and several more in entertainment and rock and roll, Sarah realized her true passion was in food, and found her way to the kitchen.  Over the years she has found that creating meals is the best stress relief and mood booster, and is always looking for new things to try and new dishes to create.  She looks forward to sharing this passion for food and cooking with you. 


Sarah is a member of the United States Personal Chef Association and is fully licensed, insured and ServeSafe certified.
